In this video, you can see how a small shell-and-tube heat exchanger is cleaned using a Goodway® RAM-4 tube cleaner. The heat exchanger had light fouling inside relatively small tubes (8 millimeters in diameter). For this application, a GTC-701 flexible shaft was used together with GTC-211 blue nylon brushes.
Thanks to the high-speed rotating brushes and low-pressure water flush, deposits were quickly and effectively removed from the tubes. This resulted in a direct improvement in heat transfer efficiency and overall system performance.
