Goodway® equipment operates using the cleaning-in-place (CIP) method. This approach requires minimal disassembly, saving manpower, reducing downtime, and lowering overall costs. During cleaning, ScaleBreak descaler is added to the water basin and circulated throughout the system and over the tube bundle using the condenser’s own pump.
- Reduced downtime: CIP enables cleaning with little disassembly of the heat exchanger, minimizing system downtime. With evaporative condensers, the cleaning can even be carried out online which results in virtually no downtime.
- Lower labor costs: CIP typically requires less labor, as there is no need to manually clean each component or reassemble the equipment, reducing overall labor costs.
- Increased safety: With no disassembly required, CIP lowers the risk of damaging equipment or exposing workers to hazardous materials, making it a safer cleaning method.
- Consistency and effectiveness: ScaleBreak descaling solutions efficiently remove scale, fouling, and other deposits from heat exchanger surfaces, delivering consistent results without the variability associated with manual cleaning.
