Over time, heat exchanger tubes may corrode or become damaged, which can lead to leakage. A leaking tube poses a significant risk to both efficiency and safety, and should therefore be addressed as soon as possible. There are several methods to detect tube leaks. Goodway Benelux offers easy-to-use leak detection equipment that quickly identifies leaking tubes within seconds. Once a leak is detected, appropriate repair measures can be taken immediately to restore system integrity.

VAC-1000 leak detector

The VAC-1000 leak detector is a simple yet highly effective device designed to detect tube leaks within seconds. The system works by quickly creating a vacuum in the tube, after which you simply monitor the gauge. If the vacuum drops, a leak is indicated.

The VAC-1000 leak detector can test a wide variety of tubes with outer diameters ranging from 6,3 mm to 76,2 mm, regardless of their shape, length, or curvature.
The VAC-1000 leak detector is very easy to use. The device is inserted into one end of the tube using a conical nozzle. At the opposite end, a T-piece with an identical, closed nozzle is inserted to completely seal the tube.
