The VAC-1000 is simple and efficient to use. The device is inserted into one end of the tube using a conical nozzle, while the opposite end is sealed with a T-piece and an identical closed nozzle, creating a complete seal. Once connected to compressed air, the system generates a vacuum inside the tube, which can be monitored on a gauge. A stable reading indicates that the tube is leak-free, while a drop in the gauge reading confirms the presence of a leak.
- The VAC-1000 leak detector only indicates whether a leak is present, not where it is located.
- The VAC-1000 leak detector can test a wide variety of tubes with outer diameters ranging from 6,3 mm to 76,2 mm, regardless of their shape, length, or curvature.
- The system is supplied as a complete kit, including a T-piece and 4 different nozzle sets.
