The Goodway® AWT-100 tube cleaner is a powerful system designed for tube cleaning of heat exchangers, boilers and many more systems. Its combination of portability and performance makes it ideal for a wide range of industrial cleaning applications, especially exhaust gas boilers on vessels.
We use the AWT-100 tube cleaning system in combination with flexible shafts and spider brushes to remove accumulation of fouling within our transportation piping, without water. We have already used the system multiple times, it's really a great product!
The Goodway® AWT-100 tube cleaner is a powerful system designed for tube cleaning of heat exchangers, boilers, and many more systems. Its combination of portability and performance makes it ideal for a wide range of industrial cleaning applications, especially exhaust gas boilers on maritime vessels. The tube cleaner connects to a flexible shaft and brush. When the operator activates the footswitch, the brush begins to rotate, cleaning the inner surfaces of the heat exchanger tubes. Depending on the application, the system can be used with a water flush or operated without water.
Thanks to the powerful – air powered – motor in the AWT-100, which allows for higher brush rotation speeds, the system is suitable for a wide range of industrial cleaning applications. These include cleaning tubes and pipes in shell and tube heat exchangers, water-cooled chillers, boiler firetubes, vacuum and extraction piping, and more. The system can be used with or without water, greatly expanding its versatility and application range.
One of the key features of the AWT-100 is its variable speed and torque control, which allows the system to adapt efficiently to different cleaning challenges. By adjusting the rotation speed and torque, the effectiveness of the brush or tool is optimized, resulting in improved cleaning performance.
Thanks to its compact size and lightweight design, the AWT-100 tube cleaner is an ideal system for cleaning exhaust gas boilers on maritime vessels such as ferries, container ships, and more. Weighing only 13 kilograms, it delivers impressive power – perfect for this demanding application. Removing hard deposits and even clearing blocked tubes is effortless with this system. When combined with the right accessories, cleaning EGB tubes becomes a much simpler and more efficient task.
The AWT-100 tube cleaner is already in use on a wide range of vessels for this exact purpose. Contact our team for more information or to request references.
The AWT-100 tube cleaner is engineered to effectively remove all kinds of deposits from heat exchangers, boilers firetubes, and many more systems. Designed for versatility, the AWT-100 can clean tubes ranging from 14 millimeters and up in diameter and lengths up to 10 meters.
The Goodway® AWT-100 tube cleaner rotates clockwise only and is therefore compatible exclusively with threaded shafts and brushes. In heavy-duty industrial applications, the threaded connection provides the strongest attachment and minimizes the risk of failure.
The AWT-100 tube cleaner is sold without accessories. To clean tubes, you’ll need a flexible shaft and brushes – these are essential for using the device. Optional items like repair kits are also useful, especially for quick fixes during operation.
The Goodway Benelux sales team can put together custom packages based on your needs. Whether you’re working on chillers, heat exchangers, or have a dry pipe cleaning application, they are happy to help you choose the right setup.
Note: The AWT-100 is powered by compressed air. As with all air-powered systems, the motor must be lubricated during use to ensure proper operation. It is also recommended to supply clean, filtered air. For this purpose, Goodway Benelux offers the GTC-705-4 air lubrication and filtration device, which is not included as standard with the AWT-100.
