Goodway® turbo nozzles are commonly used to remove deposits from cooling tower components, including air‑intake louvers and drift separators. These nozzles connect to the Goodway® CC‑400HF condenser cleaner for optimal performance, delivering a low‑pressure spray of just 30 bar to avoid damaging delicate parts. The turbo nozzle’s unique design provides the impact force of a pinpoint jet while maintaining the wider coverage of a fan spray, significantly boosting the productivity of the coil cleaning system.
Cooling tower component cleaning
When cooling tower components become fouled with scale and biological deposits, Goodway® provides an effective solution using the CC-400HF and TFC-JR systems, and ScaleBreak‑Gel. In these situations, ScaleBreak‑Gel is applied directly to the fouled surfaces. This chemical is specially formulated for cleaning cooling tower fill and other vertical surfaces. This high-viscosity, acidic gel adheres to surfaces to effectively remove mineral deposits and scale. After a layer of fouling has been removed, the turbo nozzle is used with the CC‑400HF to thoroughly rinse off the gel and wash away the loosened deposits.
