The Goodway® CC-400HF condenser cleaner is a compact system designed for cleaning air-cooled heat exchanger coils. Its unique combination of low pressure and high water flow ensures thorough cleaning while minimizing the risk of damage to the delicate fins.
We use the Goodway® CC-400HF to periodically clean a large number of air-cooled condensers. Due to the low pressure jet and high flow, we can clean the coils well without damaging them. In combination with Coilshine, we can also degrease the coils immediately, which ensures better heat transfer after cleaning.
The Goodway® CC-400HF system is specifically designed for cleaning the coils of air-cooled heat exchangers such as condensers, dry coolers and chillers. It combines a low pressure of 30 bar with a high water flow of 12 liters per minute, ensuring that all deposits on and inside the coils are thoroughly and safely removed without damaging the delicate fins. Even microchannel coils can be cleaned effectively with minimal risk of damage.
While the CC-400HF condenser cleaner is primarily designed for condensers and chillers, it is also highly effective for cleaning cooling tower components. When used with the special ‘Turbonozzle’, the system becomes an ideal solution for cleaning cooling tower fill, air intake louvers, and drift eliminators. Thanks to its low-pressure spray, these delicate components can be cleaned thoroughly with a significantly reduced risk of damage compared to traditional high-pressure cleaning methods (typically 80 bar or higher).
Note: The CC-400HF can be used to clean coils up to approximately 200 millimeters thick and is also frequently used for cleaning the coils of air handling units on board (cruise) ships.
Air-cooled heat exchangers, such as condensers and chillers, often have fragile fins or microchannels. Incorrect cleaning – such as using a high-pressure washer – can quickly flatten these fins, reducing airflow and decreasing heat transfer, which directly impacts the overall efficiency of the system.
The CC-400HF system, operating at a low pressure of only 30 bar, minimizes the risk of flattening fins or damaging microchannels, even if spraying is done incorrectly. Its high water flow of 12 liters per minute ensures that all fouling is thoroughly removed from the coils.
Larger V-shaped systems can be cleaned from the inside out, allowing fouling to be sprayed out of the system. Goodway Benelux provides special thin spray lances with a 90-degree nozzle for this purpose. These lances fit between the fan grilles, eliminating the need for disassembly. This approach improves cleaning results, reduces downtime and labor, and enhances operator safety.
