Stainless steel spider brushes are designed to remove medium to hard deposits from straight or bent tubes, pipes, and hoses. For optimal cleaning results, it is recommended to use them oversized relative to the tube or pipe diameter.
Stainless steel spider brushes are designed to remove medium to hard deposits from straight or bent tubes, pipes, and hoses. These tube and pipe cleaning brushes feature strong stainless steel strands for increased cleaning results. Use these brushes to remove various dry deposits.

Stainless steel spider brushes are designed for removing dry deposits and are not suitable for wet or greasy fouling. These brushes are always used oversized to ensure optimal contact with the pipe wall. The recommended oversize depends on the internal pipe diameter – for example, a 300 millimeter spider brush is ideal for pipes with an internal diameter of 100 – 150 millimeters.
Note: Stainless steel strands can potentially generate sparks inside tubes or pipes. The brushes and associated equipment are not ATEX-certified and should not be used in explosive or flammable environments.
Spider brushes can be used almost anywhere where dry deposits have to be removed without the usage of (high pressure) water or other fluids. Some applications include:
Spider brushes are available in different strand configurations to optimize cleaning performance and adaptability to various pipe layouts. Choosing the right strand count ensures efficient deposit removal while minimizing stress on the flexible shaft.
Spider brushes are available in nylon and stainless steel:
