Goodway® ScaleBreak-gel is a unique descaling solution designed to remove fouling - such as scale and biofouling - from cooling tower components. It is a high viscosity, acidic product that is formulated to adhere to and descale mineral deposits from cooling tower fill or other vertical surfaces.
ScaleBreak-gel descaler (20 liters)
Goodway® ScaleBreak-gel is specially formulated for cleaning cooling tower fill and other vertical surfaces. This high-viscosity, acidic gel adheres to surfaces to effectively remove mineral deposits and scale. By eliminating buildup, it not only improves the appearance of the cooling tower but also reduces areas where harmful bacteria, such as Legionella, can thrive. Regular cleaning with ScaleBreak-gel enhances both the efficiency and overall hygiene of the cooling tower.
Air-cooled condensers
Sometimes, air-cooled condensers can have scale deposits on the coils, especially with adiabatic systems or when customers spray water on the coils to increase cooling performance – typically seen in the summer period. To remove this layer of scale, the TFC-JR can be used in combination with ScaleBreak-gel and the CC-400HF condenser cleaner.
Practical information
- Use the TFC-JR system to apply ScaleBreak-gel onto the application
- Use the CC-400HF coil cleaner to rinse off the ScaleBreak-gel
- Only available in 20 liter drums
- 20 liters of gel is sufficient for ~9 m2 of surface area
- Also useful for removing scale buildup on coils of adiabatic condensers
