Neutralizing powder is an alkaline crystalline compound specifically designed to safely neutralize acidic descaling solutions after chemical cleaning procedures. Following a descaling process, the used solution must be discharged in accordance with local environmental regulations. To ensure compliance, gradually add the neutralizing powder to the liquid while monitoring the pH level until the desired value is reached. This process balances the pH, making the solution safe for disposal.

Practical information
- Approximately 1 kilogram of neutralizing powder is sufficient to raise the pH of 6,4 liters of pure ScaleBreak-MP to 5,5.
