RAM-PRO-XL tube cleaner
The Goodway® RAM-PRO-XL tube cleaner is a portable device designed for fast and effective cleaning of heat exchanger tubes. The tube cleaner connects to a flexible shaft and brush. When the operator activates the footswitch, the brush begins to rotate, cleaning the inner surfaces of the heat exchanger tubes while a low-pressure water flush rinses out the loosened deposits.
TubeGuard-XL tablet system
The RAM-PRO-XL tube cleaner features a unique TubeGuard system, which enhances cleaning by effectively removing bacteria while also protecting the tubes from corrosion and oxidation. TubeGuard is especially beneficial when heat exchangers are not immediately returned to service after cleaning, leaving the tubes exposed to the environment. The protective TubeGuard layer helps prevent corrosion and oxidation, preserving the integrity and longevity of the tubes.
- The TubeGuard system is exclusive to the RAM-PRO-XL and is not available on other tube cleaners.
- No measuring or dosing of chemicals is required. The TubeGuard-XL tablet simply dissolves in the onboard reservoir during tube cleaning; flushing the tubes in EPA certified bio-film removal compounds and corrosion inhibitors.
When to use
The RAM-PRO-XL tube cleaner is engineered to effectively remove light to medium deposits from heat exchanger tubes. It is particularly effective against deposits such as algae, sludge, mud, and biological fouling (biofilm). Designed for versatility, the RAM-PRO-XL can clean tubes ranging from 7 to 30 millimeters in diameter and lengths up to 10 meters.
