PanCare is an EPA registered biocide that is formulated to help prevent the buildup of slime and harmful bacteria in HVAC condensate drain pans. It kills 99% of Legionella Pheumophila and Salmonella Typhii Bacteria. It also contains a rust inhibitor and an acid rain neutralizer. The tablet is weighted to prevent floating and will work for up to 3 months on a 3 to 5-ton system and 2 months on a 45-ton system, providing a constant release of 1 to 3 ppm, with around 55 liters of water per day.
