Blue nylon brushes
Goodway® blue nylon brushes (GTC-211) are designed to remove light deposits from straight, smooth heat exchanger tubes. These tube cleaning brushes feature X-filament technology on the bristles for increased cleaning results.
- Use these brushes to remove deposits, like: sand, silt, mud and slime (biofouling).
X-filament technology
The blue nylon brushes feature special X-type bristles that significantly enhance the cleaning performance of the brush. In addition, this bristle design improves the brush’s durability and lifespan, allowing it to be reused more frequently than standard nylon brushes.
Threaded vs. Quick Connect
Goodway® blue nylon brushes are available with either threaded or quick connect fittings. The right choice depends on your application:
- Quick Connect – Recommended for most chiller and heat exchanger cleaning applications. Enables bi-directional brush rotation for superior cleaning results. Best paired with machines such as: RAM-PRO, RAM-PRO-XL, and RAM-4. (Note: quick-connect available from 11,1 mm and higher.)
- Threaded – Recommended for heavy-duty, industrial cleaning applications. Best paired with machines such as: AWT-100, AWT-100X, and RAM-4X.
Most brushes are supplied with quick connect brush fittings, as Goodway® machines often feature dual footswitches for forward and reverse operation.
