Goodway® nylon coiled brushes are designed to remove light to medium-hard deposits from straight, smooth heat exchanger and condenser tubes. Made from durable nylon material, they are safe for use on all common tube metals, including copper, (stainless) steel, nickel, and titanium.
To clean our condenser tubes, we use nylon coiled brush projectiles and QS-300's from Goodway Benelux. It's a very effective and efficient cleaning method for water-cooled condensers at power plants. After cleaning, we see a clear improvement in cooling capacity of our condensers.
Goodway® nylon coiled brushes are designed to remove light to medium-hard deposits from straight, smooth heat exchanger and condenser tubes. These projectiles are made from nylon material, making them strong enough to remove deposits while remaining gentle on the tube surface. Nylon coiled brushes are reusable and highly cost-effective, making them an ideal choice for customers who need to clean a large number of tubes.
Goodway® nylon coiled brushes incorporate a revolutionary piston design. They feature durable nylon bristles set in a coil, wrapped around a wear-resistant polymer core. Goodway®’s piston design allows the brushes to be quickly inserted into the tubes and helps maximize the cleaning effectiveness of the bristles.
Note: Goodway Benelux recommends using the QS-300 quick shot propulsion system to shoot these projectiles through the tubes.
Nylon coiled brushes are particularly effective against deposits such as algae, sludge, mud, and biological fouling (biofilm). Due to their efficiency and reusability, these projectiles are often used in high-volume tube cleaning applications – especially within the power generation industry for cleaning surface condenser tubes or other large shell and tube heat exchangers.
Nylon coiled brushes feature rigid nylon bristles that provide a stronger cleaning effect compared to standard polyethylene tube scrubbers. These nylon projectiles are designed to deliver thorough cleaning performance, especially when selected slightly oversized relative to the tube’s internal diameter.
For optimal results, we recommend contacting our team to determine the correct projectile size for your specific application. This ensures maximum cleaning efficiency for your tube cleaning project.
