Foam pig projectiles
Goodway® foam pig projectiles are engineered to remove fluids, fouling, or leftover product from heat exchanger tubes, hoses, and piping. When used with the Jetload or Jetlaunch-XL pipe cleaners, the foam pigs are rapidly propelled through the system using compressed air. Their oversized design allows them to press against the tube walls, effectively pushing fluids and loose deposits out of the application. Foam pigs are suitable for both straight and curved tubes with inner diameters ranging from 5 to 115 millimeters.
Foam pig projectiles are supplied in bags of 25, 50, or 100 pieces, depending on the projectile size.
When to use
Goodway®’s foam pig projectiles can be used for a wide variety of applications and we would recommend contacting the Goodway Benelux team to check if they suit your application.
- Use only with Goodway® pipe cleaners
- Tube inner diameters between 5 – 115 millimeters
- Tube lengths up to 15+ meters
- For round, smooth, straight and curved tubes, hoses and pipes
- Remove loose deposits and fluids
Note: Foam pig projectiles are also commonly used to dry tubes after cleaning and prior to performing Eddy Current wall thickness inspections on shell-and-tube heat exchangers.

- Foam pig projectiles are designed to be used oversized relative to the tube’s inner diameter for optimal cleaning performance. Selecting the correct oversize ensures the projectile works most effectively – contact the Goodway Benelux team for guidance and advice.
- Foam pigs can be reused if needed, but they are often used for a single pass to prevent spreading fouling to other tubes, hoses, or pipes.
- Their flexible design allows them to easily navigate bends, including multiple 180-degree turns, without losing effectiveness.
- The projectiles feature a high-density construction, ensuring they remain firm during cleaning. This prevents them from compressing inward, allowing for maximum fluid and deposit removal in a single pass.
