Pipe cleaning and drying

Goodway Benelux provides specialized equipment for cleaning tubes, hoses, and pipes, as well as removing residual fluids for complete internal drying. These systems are suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, including removing leftover product or liquids from production piping, and drying heat exchanger tubes after cleaning and prior to wall-thickness testing.

Advantages
  • Easily remove residual fluids
Foam pig projectiles are designed to be slightly oversized relative to the tube’s inner diameter, allowing them to push out all loose deposits and residual fluids effectively.
  • Easy-to-use equipment - do it yourself
Service technicians and maintenance engineers can easily use the equipment, with minimal training. Only compressed air is required to operate the equipment. Goodway Benelux can offer remote or onsite support, if necessary.
  • Clean all types of pipes - even with bends
Foam pig projectiles can travel through long lengths of piping, navigating multiple 90- and 180-degree bends with ease.
  • Wide application range - use for multiple systems
Cleaning and drying is possible for tube and pipe inner diameters ranging from 5 to 115 millimeters, making the system suitable for a wide variety of applications, including shell-and-tube heat exchangers, production piping, and more.

More about pipe cleaning and drying

Tubes, hoses, and pipes must be completely dry to ensure proper operation and prevent cross-contamination. Residual fluids can reduce efficiency and lead to maintenance issues. Goodway Benelux provides specialized equipment to remove fluids and fully dry pipes and tubes, ensuring reliable system performance and preparing them for testing or operation. The equipment is also suitable for use prior to Eddy Current wall-thickness testing of shell-and-tube heat exchangers.

Jetload system and foam pig projectiles

To use this equipment, a Jetload or Jetlaunch system is required to propel the foam pig projectiles through tubes or pipes. These fully air-powered systems are compact and easy to operate. The oversized foam pigs are ideal for removing soft, loose deposits, such as sand and mud, or for displacing fluids to leave the tubes or pipes completely dry. Additionally, the equipment can be applied to many other cleaning and drying tasks.

  • The equipment can be used for a wide range of cleaning and drying tasks
  • Oversized foam pig projectiles are designed to push out deposits or fluids
  • Projectiles can travel through both straight and curved tubes and pipes

Note: Foam pig projectiles are not food-grade rated.
